If you still don't have any plans for St. Patrick's Day this Saturday, March 17, the St. Patty's Palooza at Irish 31 in Hyde Park might just be the place you need to check out.

On Friday and Saturday, March 16-17, Irish 31 will block off the street in front of their restaurant for a memorable, family-friendly St. Patrick's Day street festival featuring the best in live music, food, drinks, and contests.

This fun party will benefit the Mike Alstott Foundation and feature great food and drink including smoked briscuit, boneless smoked lamb, turkey legs, Irish corned beef and steamed cabbage, and of course, lots of green beer.

In addition, the St. Patty's Palooza at Irish 31 will feature live music and entertainment all weekend long.  On Friday, stop by and see Tony Stockton (4:30 p.m.), Save the Radio (7 p.m.), and Pitbull Toddler (9 p.m.) rock the party as well as a crazy boxty eating contest (6 p.m.).

On St. Patrick's Day Saturday, Irish 31 will host live music and entertainment from Mo Gravy (2 p.m.), a corn toss tournament with  $1,000 in prizes (2 p.m.), the Irish band, Pooka (4:30 p.m.), Built for You (6:30 p.m.), and the U2 cover band, Mysterious Ways (8:45 p.m.).

There will also be leprechauns, door prizes, face painters, balloon artists, and contests including the chance to win a trip to Ireland.
