Alright, Tampa Star Wars fanatics, we know you're out there, so listen up. Come April 28, The Bricks of Ybor will host Star Wars Week, a full week of awesome Star Wars events perfect for all you Jedis and Dark Siders alike in the Tampa Bay area.
The week kicks off with the I'd Rather Kiss a Wookie Art Show on Saturday, April 28. Hosted by Tampa art promotors, Kick Start My Art, the show will feature Star Wars-inspired work from over 30 different Florida artists, live music from DJ OP 1, and all Star Wars themed food and drinks from The Bricks. Some of this includes a Death Star Burger, Outer Rim Pork Melt, and something called The Kinky Leia. The show starts at 8 p.m.
On the following Tuesday, May 1, The Bricks will host a watch party for the first Star Wars film, Episode IV: A New Hope kicking off at 10 p.m.
Star Wars Week at The Bricks will culminate on the following Friday, May 4 with an aptly-titled May the Fourth Be with You party presented by Drunk Camera Guy. The party will kick off at 10 p.m. and feature DJ Cub on the ones and twos, a Star Wars costume contest, and more.
The Bricks of Ybor will serve the special Star Wars menu all throughout the week and offer a number of drink specials as well.
