Summer Jam, the annual Ybor City music and arts festival will return to this historic Tampa district on Saturday, September 1.

Now in its 8th year, Summer Jam has grown into one of the top music festivals in Tampa while showcasing some of the best local artists and groups of the local music scene.  This year will be no different as Summer Jam 8 takes over Crowbar and New World Brewery for a full day's worth of live music, art, tasty bbq, drinks, and more.

This year, Summer Jam will feature performances from a handful of up and coming Florida bands, all capped off by a headline performance from American singer-songwriter Dave Dondero, the guy who NPR's All Songs Considered named one of the best living songwriters alongside Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and Tom Waits.

L.A. alt-pop outfit Chasing Kings will support Dave Dondero alongside an eclectic assortment of Florida bands including The Applebutter Express, Bluebird, Jensen Surf Co., Moon Lasso, Mouse Fire, Five Eight, The Owsley Brothers, Easter Island, The Wooly Bushmen, Rec Center, The Rosewoods, Outmode, and Not a Planet performing on stages at New World Brewery and Crowbar.

If you're looking to check out some of the best local music in the area or, really, just have an awesome Saturday, then Summer Jam 8 is the place to be.  Tickets to Summer Jam 8 are on sale now for only $15.
