A Tampa tradition continues this May, as the City of Tampa Government and Tampa Parks & Recreation present the 31st annual Friday Concerts in the Park series. The Friday night concerts in May 2018 will be held in the gorgeous River Tower Park, in the shadow of the historic Sulphur Springs Water Tower along the Hillsborough River in North Tampa. Each concert is free to attend, beginning at 7 p.m. and running until approximately 9 p.m.

“The Friday Night Concert Series is yet another free, fun, family friendly event our parks department offers,” said City of Tampa spokeswoman Ashley Bauman. “Make sure to come on out, pack a picnic and enjoy some music along the gorgeous Hillsborough River."

If you're coming to the Friday Concerts in the Park series, you should bring low-back lawn chairs or blankets for seating. You can bring your own food for an evening picnic, or take advantage of food trucks and other vendors on site.
