Beer and running. An odd, but suitable combination. Both make you feel good, albeit in totally different ways. Both are great while enjoyed with the company of friends, and now, both will be featured at the tbt* 3k Beer Dash, part of the 2012 Cigar City Brewing Criterium and Street Festival on Saturday, March 31.
Going down at Lykes Gaslight Square Park, this 3 kilometer or 1.8 mile run is perfect for those who love their running and beer in the Tampa Bay area. The multi-loop course through Downtown Tampa will provide runners of all skill levels with an enjoyable jog through the city.
All participants in the race will receive a commemorative beer mug as well as complimentary Cigar City Brewing Beer for those over 21 at the post race Pro Criterium Watch Party.

The TBT* 3K Beer Dash is part of the Cigar City Criterium and Street Festival in Downtown Tampa. A criterium is a style of bicycle racing where cyclists race laps on a 1-kilometer sprint-style course through the city. Now in its fourth year, the Cigar City Criterium is gearing up to be a fast-paced, adrenaline-packed race in Downtown Tampa.
