This week as I sit down to write up our list of the Top 10 Things to Do This Weekend in Tampa Bay I am thinking about Chris Rock who quipped, "You know, some people say life is short and that you could get hit by a bus at any moment and that you have to live each day like it's your last. Bullshit. Life is long. You're probably not gonna get hit by a bus. And you're gonna have to live with the choices you make for the next fifty years." It's true, so what choices will you make this weekend? It's the big fight between Mayweather and McGregor and National Dog Day with 813area.com. Beer & Bow Ties takes place at the Cuban Club in Ybor City this year, the party begins at 6 p.m. and raises money for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay for suicide prevention. They lost a beloved family member to suicide, the 10th leading cause of death in the US and are doing something about it. Beer & Bow Ties was founded by Kim Randall and Brent Kraus to provide resources for suicide prevention and awareness.
