Erin Go Bragh! It's the official holiday of the guy that drove all the snakes out of Ireland (can he do that in the Everglades by the way??). The legend says during the 5th Century St. Patrick, in the middle of a 40-day fast, chased all the snakes from the top of the hill on which he was residing into the sea. Some say there haven't been snakes on the Emerald Isle since the Ice Age, but everyone's got haters now, right Cardi B?
And so we celebrate our Irish friends, their music, culture, heritage, and fare such as corned beef & cabbage and the always-traditional green beer.
