Our Localite Spotlight of the week, Airie Lomask’s suggestion: Visit Hyde Park Village

“Are you looking for something to do this weekend in Tampa? One of my favorite things to do is visit historic places, and Historic Hyde Park has an eclectic shopping district called Hyde Park Village which has plenty to offer including restaurants. It is a great, family friendly area and has lots of weekly activities that are a draw for families, couples, singles, and friends. Whether you are stopping by local shops--my favorite being Kendra Scott--or dining on some delicious local food at On Swann, you will have a memorable evening. Hyde Park Village is ideal for a weekend excursion due to its historic charm and style as well as its close proximity to downtown and Soho. If you are looking for a low key weekend outing or even one that is inexpensive, this could be your weekend destination. You can hang out eating pastries from the Sprinkles cupcake ATM while sitting by the fountain. The 27th the Snow Circle Soiree is happening from 6 pm to 7 pm and I have been two years in a row and it's quite enjoyable.” -Airie Lomask
