Event Details
During the workshop, learn what staghorn ferns are, how to grow them, and many creative ways that they can be displayed. These make great gifts for the holidays for friends and loved ones! There will also be a demonstration on how to divide staghorn ferns and attach them to trees.
Instructor Kate Preston is a Botanist and former curator of ferns, cycads and economic plant collections at the U.S. Botanic Garden in DC. Kate also started the Staghorn collection at the Peace River Botanical and Sculpture Garden in Punta Gorda.
