This is the fifth show in the Soul Intimate series, and we are taking it up a notch. Fresh off his tour out in Croatia comes our headliner, R&B/Soul and Jazz crooner - Carmichael Musiclover. The North Carolina resident makes his debut in Tampa on Sunday, May 19th ready to bless the fans with that classic R&B sound you used to hear all day on the radio during the 80's. If you weren't around back then, I suggest you have a talk with your elders.
Poet and Spoken word artist, King Soul, is a Tampa native who offers a different perspective on how you should see life. With performances at Black on Black Rhyme Tampa, Pinot and Poetry, Straight Up Poetry, Storytellers and Lyricist and other poetry troupes, he's a storyteller at heart translating life into the art of spoken word.
Emcee/Producer, Jinx, lives by the FreeYourRhyme mentality, which is also the name of his production company. His lyrics touch on political and social topics, as well as real life experiences that most people face daily. In a time when a lot of artists stray far from reality, Jinx’s music presents a great contrast to the typical content in the hip-hop genre.
With each new show we aim to bring you a totally different vibe. Exposure to something new opens your mind to more than what you might already be accustom to. So, mark your calendars for the next phase of Soul Intimate!
