Every vote matters, especially in Florida, where both candidates in the 2016 election are vying for our all-important Florida Electoral Votes in the upcoming election. Florida, known as a Purple, or Swing State, is neither clearly Republican nor Democrat in presidential elections, making us a battleground state in this year's election.

Florida matters, which is why Hillary Clinton will be stumping Tampa at the Florida State Fairgrounds Friday following the beating she took opening night at the Republican National Convention from Pat Smith, a mother whose son was killed in the Benghazi attack to CNN’s Van Jones who spoke to the growing climate of hate in the U.S. Her response will most likely come during her visit to Central and Southern Florida this week.

Mrs. Clinton is expected to appear in Tampa, Orlando, and Miami alongside her vice-presidential nominee. Will she announce her running mate Friday in Tampa, making us the first place the Democratic nominee will appear as a full-presidential-ticket? We will have to wait and see.

With Donald Trump’s recent announcement of Governor, Mike Pence as his running mate, all eyes are on Clinton to see who she chooses.  Possibilities include Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.  Also on her radar are, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez, and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.

Information about the time of her appearance at the Florida State Fairgrounds has not been released as of this writing.
