Tampa's Cigar City Brewing has been chosen as one of 12 breweries throughout the nation to be featured in a variety 12-pack by Sierra Nevada next summer.
Each of the 12 breweries will create a special beer - one beer per brewery for the pack - when Cigar City Brewing and 11 others will visit Chico, Calif., where Sierra Nevada is based, for a "beer camp" where they'll begin crafting their special brews in the spring of 2014.

- Victory Brewing Company, Downingtown, PA
- Local brewing community in Asheville, NC
“We want to highlight the success of craft beer, not just our own next step,” said Sierra Nevada founder Ken Grossman. “Craft brewers are a close bunch, and we’ve all helped each other get to this point. This is a fun way to showcase even just a fraction of the talent that’s out there, and somehow 12 beers doesn’t feel like enough. If this weren’t already a logistical mammoth, we’d brew with even more of our great peers.”
