School's back in session at the University of South Florida, but the drink specials in North Tampa are few and far between. All the big parties and big happy hour deals seem to be in South Tampa, which gets expensive in a hurry. (You may be out of money before you finish paying for the Uber ride). Luckily the Acropolis Bar & Grill has come to the rescue! Acropolis is the place to have fun with friends, listen to great house music, and enjoy some of the best happy hour specials in North Tampa every Wednesday night!

These "Back 2 School Happy Hour" specials have been created by the Acropolis bartenders, and they're only available at the location on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. It's just minutes from USF and all the surrounding apartments and student housing, and the prices are catered to student budgets, so you don't need to go very far or spend a lot of money to have a good time partying with friends and meeting new people!

Every Wednesday night, after the dinner crowd leaves the popular location, the party begins with hot local DJ's and a great EDM vibe. This party spot is open to everyone 18 and up, but you must be 21+ to drink. And before you ask: there is no cover charge!

Here's everything else you need to know if you want to experience the best late-night happy hour in north Tampa:

  • From 10 p.m. to midnight, everyone 21 and up can enjoy a $10 open bar AYCD (All You Can Drink)
  • $3 cocktails and $2 draft from midnight until close. It really doesn't get much better than these specials!
  • EDM music played by local DJ Kyushu, and backed up by Donya Namin -- a killer duo who recently opened for the Destroy Lazers Event at Jannus Live
  • Everyone 18 and up can grab their favorite flavor of hookah starting at 10:00 p.m. and enjoy the beats outside the venue on the patio.

Sound like fun? Then check out the newest local party every Wednesday night -- you don't want to miss it!
