Here in Tampa, Gasparilla is more than a day, it’s a whole season. Your favorite bars have events going on all weekend. Here's the official day-by-day for two of Soho’s favorites, Macdinton’s and Yard of Ale, who are joining forces to make this one awesome Gasparilla weekend!
Been there, done that, GET the T-shirt!
MacDinton’s and Yard of Ale bring back their annual Gasparilla t-shirt and tank top sale! T-shirts restock on Friday and prices start at $50 each at 6 p.m. T-shirt purchases Friday get you Happy Hour cover ($10 value open bar) and 1-hour early entry to the Gaspy Hour at 6 p.m. in addition to skipping the line on Gasparilla.
Friday 1/24
You know Happy Hour, especially if you’ve been on South Howard on a Friday, but get ready to experience Gaspy Hour at MacDinton’s. Preview your pirate costumes while enjoying the open bar from 7 pm-9 pm. MacDinton’s will be hosting a pirate costume contest during the evening.
Saturday 1/25
While the parade doesn’t start until 2, get stared at MacDinton’s at 9 am with their second annual Kegs & Eggs event! Come for a FREE breakfast and your first Bud Light or Bud Light Seltzer of the day. The breakfast goes until 12 pm, which is when the live music of Magic Giant will begin!
Sunday 1/26
Still have some pirate in you after all that? Come back to Macdinton’s for the first annual Hair of the Dog post-party! Partnering with Titos Vodka, be sure to come out and enjoy the Bloody Mary Bar from 11 am- 2 pm. Proceeds will be benefiting the Tampa Humane Society. End the weekend on a high note with raffles and giveaways!
