It’s hot, it’s muggy, and when we try and watch the sunset, we turn into a mosquito buffet. Welcome to June in Florida! So what are our options on a weekend? Here’s a perfect one: Grab a buddy and head down to the The Hideaway at 2454 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater where you can enjoy a craft beer or cocktail, shoot some pool, dance—or sing along!—to a live band, or just watch a game on one of the flatscreens. With drink specials and a lineup of fun events and live music through June, there’s a reason this hotspot is one of the area’s most happening venues.

All June, the bar has a stellar lineup of live music you don't want to miss: June 22 Blind Sighted and June 29, Hurricane Shane.

Can’t make any of the above dates? No problem. Check out what’s special every day of the week at the Hideaway:

It’s happy hour every Monday to Friday from 3-7 p.m. with $2.50 Bud Lights and Michelob Ultra Drafts, $3 wells and house wines and $4 calls.

Every Sunday is industry night, when service industry folks can enjoy $2.50 domestic drafts, $3 calls, $3 shots and $3 fireballs.

Tuesdays are karaoke night from 8 p.m. to midnight, featuring DJ L MO & Co.

Wednesdays are open bar and dollar drinks from 9 p.m. to close. This includes $1 Bud, Bud Light and Ultra drafts, $1 well cocktails, $2 Svedka vodka, $5 Tito’s and $5 Long Island Iced Teas. There’s a DJ and no cover.

On “Thirsty Thursdays,” enjoy $4 Absolut and Bacardi, $5 Jim Beam and $5 Jameson all day.

Saturdays are Ladies Night, when there’s no cover, and ladies drink free well cocktails, house wine and domestic drafts from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

So skip the outdoors for the summer, and head indoors to where it’s hot and happening (in a good way) all June.
