Following a lengthy period of negotiation between the two parties, Channelside bowling center, Splitsville and Disney have struck a deal that will put a new and bigger Splitsville location in Downtown Disney.

Splitsville will take over the location where the former Virgin Records store was once housed and provide over 50,000 square feet - about twice the space of the Channelside location - of bowling, billiards, live entertainment, and much more for Orlando residents and visitors alike.

According to Splitsville officials, the company has spent three years working with Downtown Disney tweaking the theme, menu, prices, and hours to work smoothly with other new restaurants and attractions being built in the area.

Expected to open sometime this fall, the new Splitsville location will boast two floors with 30 bowling lanes, about 750 seats, a dining menu full of shareable meals, full bars, and much more.

Instead of paying for a number of games like you would at the Channelside location, guests will pay by the hour at the new Splitsville.  This will ensure that all reservations will be exactly on time with little to no waiting for a lane.

The new Splitsville will sit alongside a new Harley-Davidson store, a new LEGO Imagination Center, and other new restaurants coming to Downtown Disney.  It will join previous Splitsville locations in Miami, Dallas, Fredricksburg, and of course, Tampa.

We'll keep you posted as more details arise about the new Downtown Disney Splitsville location.
