TEN HUT, Ybor City!  There's a new bar in town with a theme to bring out the warrior in all of us.  It's The Bad Monkey and it's the area's first (as far as we know) military-themed bar sporting Army decor throughout, a great selection of drinks, and more.

Step in to the Bad Monkey and you'll be greeted by a life sized P-40 War Hawk crashing through the wall.  The fightin' spirit doesn't stop there either.  The Bad Monkey sports six full sized 105 mm howitzer shells that work as craft beer taps serving sixteen different beers and all the local favorites.

Speaking of the taps, The Bad Monkey is introducing a new concept where you can "own" certain taps for the night and pay on a pay-as-you-pour basis.  This will likely eliminate the often long and boring hassle of waiting in line at the bar for your next drink.

Of course, what would a good bar be without a couple TVs throughout the place to watch all the big games?  The Bad Monkey has seven of them throughout the bar so catching any of your favorite local teams like the Rays, the Bucs, or the Lightning will be a breeze.

The Bad Monkey doesn't serve food, but if you get hungry you can order from Bernini Italian Restaurant's full menu and pick it up right across the street.

If you're looking to host a group event, private groups can enjoy their upstairs “Talibar Lounge” for meetings or social events.

Sound cool?  Head out to Ybor City and give Bad Monkey a try soon!  Don't forget to give them your own rating and review on the Bad Monkey 813area business listing.
