Sometimes there's just nothing like sitting down and clearing your mind with a frosty beer in hand.  Now that it's summer, and were in South Florida, this sentiment rings all the more true.  Lucky for us, Tampa knows how to treat its beer-friendly residents quite well.  From the Yuengling Brewery to Cigar City Brewing and festivals like WaZoo dedicated to all things beer, it's safe to say we're a great city for any fan of this hoppy libation.

If you find yourself in Downtown Tampa, though, do yourself a favor and check out The Pour House.  This relatively new bar (they opened about a year ago) boasts 40, yes 40 craft beers on tap and an additional selection of 70 different bottles so you'll have no problem finding your favorite beer or discovering a new one.

In addition to beer, they also serve a variety of wine by the glass and, get this, six-packs of beer and bottles of wine for takeout.  A bar and beer/wine store in one?  Not too bad!

Relax on the patio out front with your dog if you please, or even bring him/her inside because The Pour House is dog friendly inside and out.  The atmosphere is nothing but laid back here making it a great place to stop after a long day at work or just somewhere to kick back and watch the game on the flat screen.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, head out to The Pour House and see what they're all about.  They'll serve you your favorite or help you discover a new, great beer, and that, my friends, is pretty cool.
