Located in Sarasota, Siesta Key Beach has been ranked the number-one beach in America more than once, and for a good reason! There is much to do on and off the beach, making this place definitely worth a trip of it's own.

The beach is located on a little strip called the Siesta Key Village with unending dining, drinking, shopping, and dancing options. With such diversity, Siesta Key Village is great for all ages. From tiki bars with live music to late night clubs, you'll be sure to have a great time with friends and family.

To begin your fun-filled day, start at the beach. Siesta Key Beach is like no other as it's extremely spacious and seems to go on forever because you could walk for hours along the shoreline. Along with it being so large, there are also a few volleyball nets if you'd like to get a game going! Siesta Key Beach is always packed with games and things to do, allowing you to have fun with your group as well as meet new people.

If you're more interested in relaxing and tanning, there is plenty of room for that as well. The sand is like powdered sugar because it's incredibly soft and white, so you could just lay on the sand if you wanted! They have rentals there as well in case you forget your lounge chairs and umbrellas.

At the front entrance of Siesta Key Beach, there are bathrooms, water fountains, and a concession stand as well as a store. So if you forget your refreshments, they have you covered!

After a day at the beach, you can walk around Siesta Key Village and go to one of their restaurants for lunch or dinner.

Siesta Key Oyster Bar

One of the most visited and loved places of Siesta Key Village is the Siesta Key Oyster Bar. This restaurant is always packed, and you know what they say: if there's a wait, it must be worth it! Here, you have the choice of dining inside or out on the covered patio where you can see the rest of strip and people walking by. Siesta Key Oyster also has live music and a great selection of draft beer as well as outstanding seafood.

Daiquiri Deck Siesta Key

Another fan favorite, Daiquiri Deck, is the perfect location; it's spacious and open, making it an ideal place to grab a bite to eat. After dark though, it becomes a club-like scene with live music or a DJ. If you aren't a fan of daiquiris, the Daiquiri Deck offers an extensive drink menu including wines, beer, frozen beverages, and signature mixed drinks, so there's something for everyone in the group!

Meaney's Mini Donuts

Need a snack break from bar hopping? This mini donut shop is the best' I personally never leave Siesta Key Village without stopping here first! These mini donuts are just like the warm, sugary donuts you love from the fair. Meaney's has many options to spice up your donut cravings with a variety of toppings and syrups to put on your bite-sized donuts.

Beach Club Siesta Key

In the mood for dancing? Just a few steps from Meaney's Mini Donuts is the Beach Club, the number-one club in Siesta Key Village. There's a $5 cover charge, but once you're in, you can go and come back all night! This place really gets popping after 11:00 p.m. There's a huge bar that extends throughout the entire back of the club as well as pool tables, a dance floor, stage, and a VIP section. The Beach Club is a diverse, yet fun place to go with your friends and have a great time out on the dance floor! This is also a hot spot for bachelor and bachelorette parties!

Gilligan's Island Bar & Grill

Gilligan's is also a fun place to dance. It's a sports bar and grill, but they also have a dance area, and plenty of people take advantage of it! Here, you can watch the games, catch up on scores, drink, eat, and get your body moving!

The Broken Egg

After a late night, you'll probably wake up hungry, and Siesta Key Village has the perfect breakfast spot: The Broken Egg Cafe. In the same location as all your fun from the night before, this breakfast nook is a favorite for locals and tourists alike. They have the best eggs benedict you'll find as well as other egg dishes and sandwiches along with plenty of breakfast and brunch options. So wake up and get your day going with a delicious breakfast and cup of coffee at the Broken Egg Cafe!

After a day at the beach, take the time to relax and stroll along the Siesta Key Village and explore all the tourist shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs to complete your day at Siesta Key Beach.
