Enjoying the simple pleasures in life is what it's all about. Drinking your morning coffee, listening to good music, or savoring a cold beer in the afternoon are part of what makes us get up every day and take on the world. The same goes for Miami's Little Havana where its Cuban roots are a strong influence keeping the area bustling with activity and things to do. Get a taste of the neighborhood’s Latin-American flavor by visiting some of the best bars in Little Havana.

Union Beer Store

Little Havana may be known for having some of the best Cuban food in the city, but at Union Beer Store, it’s all about the drinks. This famous bar is brought to you by the same co-founders of the Miami Brew Bus and Kush by LoKal. Located at 1547 on Calle Ocho, the brewery features a beer market and rotating tap list, so don’t forget to grab a drink (or two) next time you’re nearby.

Located right next to the Maximo Gomez Park in the heart of Little Havana, Old’s Havana offers authentic Cuban cuisine and amazing cocktails that give the place a true Latin-American vibe. The intimate setting of the restaurant goes well with their delicious food, and the mojitos are a must have!

Ball & Chain

The historic Ball & Chain has had a few owners over the years and a colorful history since opening in 1935, but it remains one of Calle Ocho’s iconic bars. Ball & Chain is a bar and lounge featuring live music and regularly hosting private events. It’s one of the best places to go salsa dancing in Miami as well as to enjoy a few drinks accompanied by some of the best Latin music in town.

Bar Nancy

You probably won’t recognize some of Nancy’s cocktails since they have creative names, but the bar’s popularity speaks for itself. Drinks like the Smile, You Son of a Bitch; the Gunner’s Daughter, and the Layday are just a few out of their extensive cocktail list. The whole place has a nautical theme, and the bar itself is named after a famous supply ship from the Revolutionary War. Hoy Como Ayer Club

Hoy Como Ayer is famous for bringing some of the best Latin-American musicians in the business. More than just a bar in Little Havana, it's a cultural center featuring performers almost every day of the week while also serving top-quality meals and cocktails.
