Do you have a Saturday ritual? No? Well, I have the perfect event to change that! Right in the heart of Sarasota is the Sarasota Farmers Market! Every Saturday, make your way over to the farmers market to get your fresh produce for the upcoming week as well as other goods.

If you're an early bird on the weekends, the Sarasota Farmers Market is a great start to the day because it opens at 7:00 a.m. No worries if you like to sleep in as the market goes until 1:00 p.m. Here you'll have a fun time with friends, family, and pets as you explore the outdoor market.

Make sure you come with an empty stomach because there are many food options at the Sarasota Farmers Market: donuts, macaroons, pies, kettle corn, popsicles, crepes, beef jerky, sushi, German food, barbecue, pasta, seafood, cheese, and guacamole! There are plenty of drink options as well like smoothies, fresh juices, lemonade, and tea to whet your whistle.

At the Sarasota Farmers Market, they have a wide spread of organic produce, so you'll leave with only the freshest fruits and veggies in town. After groceries, look around at the wonderful artisan crafts and handmade products including soaps, decorative art, baskets, aprons, clothes, pillows, candles, and even body products! 

The market conveniently has flower and plant vendors as well so you can stop and smell the roses (and whatever else you pass) and get your sweetie a surprise bouquet! In addition to beautiful flowers, you'll also have the chance to get herbs, house plants, outdoor plants, and more with these incredible vendors at the Sarasota Farmers Market.

While you walk around and enjoy your Saturday at the Sarasota Farmers Market, you'll also get an earful of pleasant music as the market provides live music and bands through out the day!
