World Cup hysteria is starting to heat up, and Fort Lauderdale is particularly a mecca for the soccer-obsessed crowd. There are several local pubs and top sports bar brands that make the viewing experience one-of-a-kind. 

The United States may not have made the World Cup field, but there will still be passionate fanbases from around the world that flood these establishments for the duration of the tournament, which begins June 14. Here is our list for where to watch the World Cup in Fort Lauderdale:

Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill  

Bokamper's has several locations in Southwest Florida, but their top spot has beautiful waterway views off the Intracoastal in Fort Lauderdale. This restaurant/bar has massive indoor and outdoor seating areas providing excellent television coverage anywhere you sit. 

The menu has the usual sports bar classics as well as sushi and a raw bar. Bokamper's is often packed for any match or game featuring the U.S. and, even though the Americans did not make the cut this time around, there should still be plenty of soccer fans that make this their World Cup destination.

Waxy O'Connor

Waxy O'Connor's has seven locations across the country, but their Fort Lauderdale outpost is right off A1A on 17th street. It's a billed as a modern Irish pub, and their menu reflects that style.

In addition to great food, Waxy's knows how to pour the perfect Guinness. They are known as a destination for those who love The Beautiful Game, and they're planning to show all of the World Cup matches. 

Marina84 Sports Bar & Grill  

Marina84 Sports Bar & Grill is the quintessential American sports gastropub located near the I-95/I-595 Interchange. They're known for their excellent lunch specials they offer to employees of local Fort Lauderdale businesses.

At lunch, those who take advantage of the Local's Lunch Specials can get ten Marina Wings for $8.99. Deals like that will certainly be handy with all the early World Cup start times!

Fox & Hound

Fox & Hound is an English pub that is known for their coverage of the English Premier League. The clientele at this British pub, located off Dixie Highway in Oakland Park, will turn their passions towards World Cup action for the next month. 

Fox & Hound should have a particularly spirited crowd when England kicks off their World Cup journey on June 18 at 2 p.m. against Tunisia. The menu features British classics like bangers and mash, fish and chips, and shepherd's pie. 

America's Got Soccer

As the largest indoor soccer facility in Florida, America's Got Soccer is fueling passion for the sport among all age groups in Fort Lauderdale. Inside the complex, Pumas Sports Tavern keeps all the top soccer action on the TV. 

They have over 50 beers and select wines from around the world available. Stout Bar and Grill is also right next door to America's Got Soccer, and they have over 100 whiskeys available.
