The Tampa Sky Zone, a franchise of the premiere trampoline park internationally and one of the top places for fun and recreational things to do in Tampa, is offering free use of its trampoline park for federal employees until January 31.

Those impacted by the government shutdown have a lot to contend with; and while the brand can’t put an end to the shutdown, Sky Zone Tampa can help provide some much-needed fun at this challenging time.

Sky Zone Tampa is proud to invite federal government employees and their immediate families to stop by the park for free fun and active play. Everyone wins when the community comes together to help bring some joy into the lives of those who are facing a serious challenge.

“Members of our local Sky Zone team have been affected by this shutdown, and we’re committed to doing anything we can to alleviate the stress and provide some family fun during this time,” said Jay Highley, Owner of Sky Zone Tampa.

To enjoy this offer, valid government identification is required. Federal government employees who are furloughed or currently without pay and up to three (3) immediate family members are each eligible for one (1) free 60-minute jump per day at Sky Zone every Tuesday through Thursday until January 31, 2019. Sky Zone socks are required and not included in this offer, but guests can always bring back SkySocks from previous visits to use again. We are also accepting donations for the Coast Guard's Feeding Tampa Bay food drive. Every customer that makes a donation to the food drive will receive $2 off of their Tuesday through Thursday jump costs.

Sky Zone is one of the fastest growing franchises in the world with 160 locations. We offer the premier indoor trampoline experience for those looking for things to do in Tampa. Sky Zone Tampa has several different attractions on site. Our biggest trampoline area is our sprawling, wall-to-wall freestyle trampoline area. It allows customers to jump and flip to their heart's content. The Sky Slam area allows participants of all statures the ability to jump on wall-to-wall trampolines as they attempt slam dunks in basketball hoops.

A newer attraction is the Ninja Warrior course. It allows participants to test their strength, speed, and agility as they are suspended over a huge bounce pit and attempt to negotiate ropes, climbing rings, balance beams, and other obstacles. The Sky Joust pits you against another participant in a gladiator-style competition. Both participants are on pedestals over a foam pit. Their goal is to knock the other off of the pedestal.

We also have a Foam Zone filled with huge squares of foam. This area allows our customers to safely practice fancy jumps and dives. Another huge wall-to-wall trampoline area is reserved for dodge ball. We call that area “Ultimate Dodgeball.”

We have a free climb area that is a climbing wall. There are no harnesses needed because you are suspended over a soft and safe landing pad. Our Warped Wall is a curved incline that has various heights and inclines for our guests to conquer. The SkyLadder is a shaky but safe ladder that you can either climb to the top or fall onto the trampoline and try to climb again and again.

Our programs include hosted birthday events and P.E. classes for homeschoolers.

Since the federal government situation is fluid, the offer for free jump time for federal employees is subject to change. We encourage our families affected by the federal government shutdown, and the rest of the community to join us at Sky Zone Tampa for some fun and recreation. For the feds, Tuesday through Thursday jumps are free for a limited time.
