Man, it seems like awesome, new opportunities when it comes to recreation in Tampa are popping up every day.  Just a few weeks ago we told you about the new trend of stand up paddle boarding sweeping across the area. Now, we've just got the news about the USF high ropes course, a 55-foot high course lined with ropes for the traversing and a perfect outfit for team building with your friends or co-workers.

Located at USF's Riverfront Park, this interactive course is a multi-faceted physical challenge boasting a lattice of rope challenges and a zip line.   The cool thing about the course is that you can take each challenge at your leisure.  There's no set path you're required to take so you can pick and choose which ones you are or aren't up to doing.

The ropes course is a fantastic way to facilitate team building for corporate companies, school groups, or other collections of people where a strong team bond is beneficial to group goals.  The course can hold up to 40 people at one time and groups are required to pay for 10 or more people, but can bring less if they desire.  For groups of USF students or staff, the course is $7.50 per person for a 3 hour session and $15 for 6 hours.  For non-USF groups, the cost is $15 per person for 3 hours and $30 per person for 6 hours.

Full-day, half-day, and longer workshops are also available for groups.  These will challenge your group and help everyone involved develop integral teamwork skills.
