Woah... Datz! If you have never been to Datz in South Tampa before, you are in for an overload of treats. This particular Tampa restaurant offers more than one can seemingly imagine from the downstairs to the upstairs, yes the upstairs! Not only are there many sections and atmospheres of Datz, but every type of food and drink offered there are of an amazing quality, as if they specialized in all types of food and drinks from meats to desserts and cocktails to tap beer.
First, let's talk about the many different environments and amenities offered at Datz. Upon entering the humble Datz front doors, you will see a wide open view of almost the entire restaurant, almost. To your right will be an experience and professional chef that is surrounded by a type of bar and chairs, similar to that of a hibachi style restaurant. If you choose to sit here, you will enjoy the mastery of the chef as he, or she, explains what they are cooking and how. This is the perfect way to feel high class when wanting to try a different way to do dinners in Tampa.
The first floor is then graced with several tables for diners, and to the left is an exquisite dessert area with some of the finest chocolates in Tampa Bay. Just further and behind this area of the restaurant is a bar where patrons can choose from delicious cocktails and perfectly brewed craft beer.
Upstairs is another floor of options for guests to enjoy a different way of dining. Neatly adorned into a front wall are countless bottles of eclectic wines. Just behind this wall is a small wine room seen through a glass door where Datz hosts several wine tastings paired with cheese. Accompanying the wine in the upstairs is another bar and several tables to dine while looking over the first floor. Also seen here are the chandeliers made from wine bottles which any wine lover in Tampa would envy to have in their own home.
The atmosphere at Datz is so amazing, it is hard to comprehend just how amazing their food and drinks are. Every type of cuisine, beer, cocktail, wine and dessert are so delicious that it seems as if Datz only served one of these items, they would do just fine specializing in them. Most have never seen a restaurant that specializes in everything, and I do mean everything, but Datz does it, and does it well.
