National upscale seafood chain Eddie V's recently opened their seventh location at 4400 W Boy Scout Blvd. in Tampa's Westshore District.

This high end seafood restaurant and steak house will join the ranks of other like-minded eateries in the Tampa Bay area including Fleming's, Ruth's Chris, Ocean Prime, and Bern's, but tout a sense of flair and dedication that'll hopefully make it stand out in all the right ways.

Freshness is the name of the game when it comes to the huge variety of seafood served up at Eddie V's, much of which was swimming in the ocean less than 24 hours before it was on the plate.

Seafood selections at Eddie V's are abundant and include entree highlights like Louisiana Red Fish sauteed with fresh, lump crab Meuniere style; Pacific Ahi Tuna seared with Asian pear, mango, avocado, and roasted cashews; Chilean Sea Bass with a light soy broth; and more.

In addition, Eddie V's also offers an assortment of premium, hand cut steaks including 8-ounce center cut filet mignon, 22-ounce USDA Prime bone-in ribeye, 16-ounce USDA Prime New York strip, and more.

Eddie V's also prides itself on a rich assortment of live music, mostly jazz and blues, performed seven nights a week in the V Lounge, which will stay open later than the restaurant itself.
