Meatless Monday is back again, this time with a place made for anyone who's ever felt constricted by an allergy eating out. The Loving Hut in Tampa, just off Fletcher Avenue, perhaps won't catch your attention passing by. If you aren't careful, you might even miss it. But don't be mistaken by the casual exterior... the menu at Loving Hut is unlike any in the Bay area.

The menu is the reason we opted for lunch at this spot. From BBQ burgers to sushi, this spot has all your cravings covered. And the best part? It's all vegan. Thus, anyone with a lactose allergy, meatless palate, or even gluten intolerant (gluten free options are listed on the menu for you), can sit down and have a delicious meal without worry.

Picking what to eat was a challenge, but ultimately, the cheesy quinoa sandwich caught our eye. For $9.45, you get the loaded sandwich, topped with avocado, kale, red onions, tomatoes and vegan butter, plus your choice of an organic soup. First of all, the sandwich was incredible. Texture, taste and more or less, absolutely delicious... this sandwich conquers your cravings and does it in a healthy style.

And the soup, all organic by the way, was spot on. Choices range from potato kale to bean, which both offer a soulful and hearty taste. They're the perfect starter to a meal with a lot to offer.

Our recommendation? Take the meal to go and head out to the Riverfront Park just down the road, or graze on USF's Tampa campus and enjoy the fall weather while you can, with your meatless monday soup and sandwich in hand!
