"Laughter is brightest where food is best." - Irish Proverb

Strandhill Public’s aim is to sustain the spirit of the traditional Irish pub and they have succeeded in spades. This Tampa restaurant located in the bustling Tampa Heights area is welcoming and warm. We are working our way through the menu and know not playing favorites on our next visit will be very hard. Especially since we have not visited for brunch yet which notably features one complimentary breakfast cocktail with each main course.

I am going to let the photos of the food speak for themselves. The food is elevated, flavorful, and delicious!

Strandhill Cobb Salad Iceberg lettuce, tomato, corn, egg, cucumbers, fried onion with a BBQ ranch dressing.

Smoked Ricotta & Tomato Red wine-braised figs, basil-pistachio pesto, grilled toast points

Corned beef nachos with Dubliner cheddar cheese

Irish Whiskey Burger Creekstone Farm beef patty, smoked bacon, caramelized onions, Dubliner cheddar cheese, Irish whiskey BBQ sauce on toasted tavern roll

Irish Beef Stew Slow-cooked, tender beef & vegetables in hearty-savory broth, toasted country bread

Shepherd’s Pie Savory lamb pie topped with creamy mashed potatoes, crispy fried shallots & chives

Banoffee Pie Shortbread crust filled with caramel, banana mousse, and toasted meringue

Mixed Berry Fool Mixed berries layered with whipped cream and shortbread crumble, served with shortbread cookies

The outside courtyard patio is a great option for al fresco dining.

Strandhill Public is destined to be a go-to for our family offering. They hit all the right notes on menu variety and offer very affordable wine and beer choices. It would be a crime not to mention their extensive selection of Irish whiskeys ranging from fine blends, single pot still, single malt, and peated expressions. They have two Tampa locations

Let’s make St Pat proud! Everybody to the pub!
