Best hotel in Tampa and not too expensive! Luxury for a great price

This is a beautiful landmark hotel in Downtown Tampa. Great water view and easy access to things to do close by!

Spending Independence Day at the Waterside Marriott was the best experience I could possibly imagine. Our boat is docked right outside the hotel so we went inside and were greeted by wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. We ordered their food and they even let us take everything outside onto the boat to sit in paradise and watch the annual fireworks from the perfect location with the best view in town! I was so excited to see that for boat owners and hotel guests, alike, Marriott truly was the ideal place to spend the holiday!

Pros: Exceptional view Friendly staff Great food Fabulously beautiful hotel Lots of space to comfortably enjoy the firework show They bend over backwards to make each and every person have the best experience possible.

Cons: There is nothing I could possibly fault!

As a local I love going through the front door of this grand waterfront hotel in Tampa, it feels like I traveled somewhere when I haven't! Always exciting, and something beautiful to see in the Great Room. The sports bar is huge and has the biggest TV I have ever seen. Bartenders are friendly, always remember us, the food is exceptional and they pour a really nice drink. The craft beer board blew us away!!

Pros: Right in my backyard, on the water, on the Riverwalk, we love taking a walk after dinner before heading back home.

Cons: Valet is convenient but costly, just learned I can get my ticket discounted at the bar, that's huge! I can park across the street in the public garage or on the street cheap, I like valet though.

Christmas Buffet was excellent
