Florist Fire, located in the heart of Hyde Park Village, has been Tampa Bay’s renowned wedding and event florist for nearly ten years. Award-winning floral designer Gayle Zerr founded the shop in 2008 with one goal in mind:  “Build with my hands what I have in my heart.” Today, Florist Fire offers floral designs for weddings, corporate settings, birthday parties and more.

With more than 15 years of floral wedding design, Florist Fire takes wedding designs from traditional to eccentric with stunning arrangements. From casual beach weddings to black tie formal, Florist Fire elevates your event to the next level by offering custom floral design, décor, draping, linens and chair coordination.

Florist Fire also offers do it yourself (DIY) classes allowing brides to build their centerpieces with friends in a stress-free environment while receiving tips from experts. In these classes, DIY brides and friends are invited to the design studio, where they sip on champagne and receive step-by-step instructions from a professional floral designer. Everything is provided including the supplies and flowers needed to create your dream wedding florals.

There are several DIY options available. The Private Party provides an intimate experience where the bride and closest friends and family work alongside a floral designer to create wedding arrangements. The workshop runs from 1.5-3 hours. The one-on-one option is a 2-hour session where the first hour is spent discussing floral designs and the second hour is spent receiving instruction on flower preservation. With this option, flowers will be sourced, ordered, processed, and available for pick up. Perfect choices for DIY brides trying to stay on budget.

If you’re not walking down the aisle just yet, flowers are the perfect gift, especially with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years in Tampa heading our way. Next time you’re in Hyde Park Village, swing by Florist Fire to grab fresh flowers for someone special.
