Fantasy Football Geeks should target these 3 for the Playoffs

Congratulations to you serious Fantasy Football Geeks, like me, who made the playoffs starting this weekend.  But did you make the playoffs in 2 of your 3 leagues? Thank you very much!

Now don’t think that heading into Week 14 of the NFL season, means there are no worthwhile players left on the waiver wire.  Depending on how smart and how diligent your league owners are, there are some decent players available, guys, who could make a difference.

Here are the top 3 that you shouldn’t hesitate to pick up if they’re on the board:

Charles Sims  RB  Bucs

Sims has not played since Week 4, but the Bucs expect to activate him for Sunday’s game against the Saints.  With Doug Martin a little banged up from last Sunday, Sims could be in the mix in the next 3 weeks.  And he’s owned by only 17% of the leagues on CBSSports.com.   Pick him up.

Justin Forsett  RB  Broncos

The Broncos just claimed him this week.  Once again, they’re hurting at running back.  Forsett is reunited with Gary Kubiak, who was his OC in Baltimore where he had his best season.  He’s owned by just 8% of the leagues on CBSSports.com.  Pick him up.

Malcolm Mitchell  WR  Patriots

It’s tough to rely on Patriots’ skill players in Fantasy ball since Tom Brady spreads the ball around so much.  But Malcolm Mitchell has 3 TD’s in the last 3 weeks while being targeted 22 times.  And he’ll play against a dreadful Jets’ defense in a potential Fantasy Super Bowl in Week 16.  Owned in 39% of CBS Sports leagues.  Pick him up.

And if you need one more, try...

Tyler Lockett of the Seahawks

Good luck!
