The PPC Tour is coming back to Silks Poker Room January 1st with the 3rd Annual Tampa Downs Winter Fest. Kick off the New Year with 7 tournaments over 10 days and a total prize pool of $115,000 guaranteed! There are all kinds of games from a cheapstack all the way to the main event!
Starting on New Years Day is the NLHE Kickoff Tournament. There are 3 flights over January 1st and 2nd and final tables on the 3rd. It is only a $235 buy in for a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Next up are a couple of cheap ways to get into the main event. The Cheapstack Step 1 is only $25, and if you end up in the top, you get a free entry into the Main Event Satellite the next day. Or you could just join the Main Event Satellite itself for $75, 1 in 5 will get a free entry into the Main Event! And that’s a HECK of a bargain, if you’ve got the poker playing know-how to get to the top 20%.
Then there is a rapid fire of five tournaments in four days. Everything from standard NLHE, to Pot Limit Omaha, to a Charity Tournament, to a seniors only tournament, to a Green Chip Bounty Tourney, so there’s something for everyone!
Thursday the 7th is the final Satellite Tournament to get into the main event. Just $135 and 1 in 5 gets free entry. And the next day are two of the four flights for the main event, with the final two flights kicking off on Saturday. Entry is $600 for a guaranteed $60,000 prize pool, and 20% of that prize pool will be paid out in packages towards entry and travel to the PPC Aruba World Championship next November!
