Following six wins out of seven games topped by two huge victories earlier this week, the USF Bulls men's basketball team could very well have a spot secured in the 68-team NCAA Tournament later this month.

Last Sunday, the Bulls beat the Cincinnati Bearcats 46-45 in a highly contentious match at their temporary home court, the Tampa Bay Times Forum.  Then, last Wednesday they secured a much-needed victory over No. 19 Louisville, beating out the Cardinals 58-51 on their home turf.

This win, many say, could very well secure the Bulls a spot in the 68-team NCAA Tournament bracket.  Participating teams in the tournament will be announced on Selection Sunday, March 11.

These wins put the Bulls record at 19-11 overall and 12-5 within the Big East Conference.  69 teams have secured over 12 in-conference wins since the Big East's start.  If there's any glaring evidence that the Bulls will make the cut, all 69 of those teams have been selected for the NCAA Tournament.

If the Bulls make it, this will be their first tournament appearance since 1992 and only the third in the team's history.

Now, the Bulls have one more game against West Virginia at the Forum this Saturday and need all the home support they can get.  All tickets are only $10 and kids get in free.  Those in the lower bowl section will receive a free white t-shirt with the word "Madness" on it.  Tickets can be purchased here on the 813area USF v. West Virginia ticket page or by visiting www.GoUSFBulls.com.

Head out and cheer on your USF Bulls as they head to secure their spot in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
