"Love Beyond Bars” is a workshop designed for families and friends of inmates, as well as former inmates around the Tampa Bay area. The event will be facilitated by various individuals and organizations within the community who are involved with and/or knowledgeable of the Florida correctional system, as well as individuals with backgrounds in counseling.The primary aim of the event is to educate and empower families to support their incarcerated loved ones throughout and after the period of incarceration
This is a FREE workshop, but registration is required. Registration inculdes FREE transportation from the University Area Community Development Center (UACDC), breakfast, lunch, and all workshop materials. Free childcare will also be provided
