As a part of the Great American Cleanup, The Florida Aquarium in partnership with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful will be cleaning up local Tampa shorelines and planting mangroves to protect and restore important marine habitat and ecological resources in Tampa Bay.
Our goal is to collect as much trash and debris as possible to contribute to healthier shorelines and oceans. We will also be planting mangrove propagules that have been raised in The Florida Aquarium's Wetlands gallery. Come for the whole day, or come for an hour. Any time you contribute helps to protect and restore our blue planet!

Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet or dirty.
Bring / wear sunscreen (we recommend coral reef safe brands).

Other Considerations
Water coolers will be provided. We recommend bringing your reusable water bottle to fill up and stay hydrated.

If something is too large to lift, get help or leave it and we will report to the proper authorities.
If you come across broken glass or syringes, please leave them alone and do not risk injury to yourself or others.
Please respect wildlife and land around the cleanup area including mangroves, animals, etc.
