in 2011 several Tampa natives joined forces to coordinate the first annual Pig Jig to raise funds to benefit the NephCure Foundation in honor of their dear friend, Will, who was diagnosed with FSGS in 2009.
Event Details
What began as a backyard BBQ grew into the Tampa Pig Jig on the River, a waterfront blowout with great bands, delicious food, fun and games. We expect more than 3,000 attendees this year. Over the past 5 years, the Pig Jig event has raised over $1,200,000 with all proceeds benefiting NephCure Kidney International. Our goal for this year alone is to raise $800,000!
