Event Details
Woodworkers and woodturners tend to travel in their own circles, but a lathe is a very useful tool, even for the occasional turner, as most woodworkers tend to be. Wood Turning takes some practice, but it’s a little bit like riding a bicycle; once you get the hang of it, it stays with you forever. Join architectural wood-turner and instructor, Beth Ireland for this practical hands-on class as she shows you how to do a variety of turning for furniture applications such as duplicating parts, and turning from a square section to round (like the top of a table leg).
