Community: Downtown Tampa
Description
A fun Sunday activity from 10:30am to 3pm to learn basic woodshop skills by getting hands on experience making your own Artisanal wood chopping board.
Event Details
Starting with a block of wood, you will mill up and then glue together multiple strips to make up your chopping board. After its dried (good time to break for lunch) you’ll cut your wood to final length and width. You’ll sand it to perfection, apply a lovely soy oil/beeswax finish and you’ll be set to go! Get creative and do a little burning designs on your board if you’re feeling adventurous.
