Learn woodturning in a practical hands on class where you will learn about techniques of chucking, spindle, end grain and faceplate turning.
Event Details
This evening class taught by Rudy Lopez is for those who are just starting out in the art of woodturning and for intermediates who want to hone their skills.
This class will provide a safe atmosphere to develop and improve your wood turning skills. You will have your own lathe and plenty of hands on time to work on a wide range of projects. You will focus on three areas of wood turning – Spindle (handles, wine stoppers, rolling pins), Face work (bowls, platters, plates), and Endgrain (bowls, boxes, goblets).
