But for the rest of us who like our celebrating a little more on the classic-movie-themed-historic-theatre side, Tampa Theatre’s third-annual NYE Wrap Party is going to be groovy, baby (yeah!) as the majestic movie palace goes shagadelic on Monday, Dec. 31, from 9:00 pm until 1:00 am.
Join Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworth for heavy hors-d'oeuvres and desserts, live music and dancing, the ball drop LIVE on the big screen at midnight, and an open beer-and-wine bar all night long… all for “one meeeeellion dollars.” (Just kidding! Tickets are only $99 for general admission and $89 for Theatre Members). Austin Powers-themed signature cocktails (Mini-Me-mosas, anyone?) and a cash liquor bar will also be available.
Tickets go on sale for the general public on Monday, Sept. 10. Tampa Theatre Members have access to early tickets NOW. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend, and valid government-issued ID will be required for entry.
