The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, in collaboration with Tampa Pride, is excited to announce its upcoming event, the LGBTea Party!
Event Details
It will be held during Tampa's Pride Week, where we will be celebrating the vibrant LGBT and arts community here in Tampa Bay.
Programming will include live body painting, featuring the artist Nicole Hays from "Skin Wars". Our own prominent FMoPA member, Michael Sheehan, MD., will be photographing the art and providing a dazzling pop up show with some of Nicole's past works. A portion of the University of South Florida’s LGBT collection will be on view throughout the event. Special performances will be given by the Tampa Pride Band and dancers from Project Alchemy lead by Alex Jones.Delicious tea party snacks and tea with a twist will be served throughout the night. So stop by and have a Long Island Iced Tea after work and kick off Tampa Pride week here with us!Through outreach programs and events FMoPA fulfills its mission of advancing community engagement with the arts. Your support can help us do that! Also, 10% of all the funds raised for the event will be going back to Tampa Pride to help support the LGBT community!
