More than just a festival, To The Rescue! is a celebration of superb wines, gourmet samplings from local chefs and restaurants, a large variety of craft beers and spirits as well as great live entertainment.
Join us on November 2, 2019 in downtown Tampa’s Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park for a celebration benefiting the critical work of Rescue Cats of Florida, one of Tampa Bay’s largest animal adoption champions!
Our inaugural festival will be held November 2, 2019 at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, an open-air venue nestled in the heart of downtown Tampa on the beautiful Hillsborough River. Guests of the event can stroll the river walk sampling the unique blend of beverages and savor the gourmet food samplings under a blanket of stars while absorbing the music of the night with a host of their friends and colleagues.
All proceeds benefit Rescue Cats of Florida a five county comprehensive animal rescue whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home, abused and homeless animals. It also works to increase public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue, and to provide solutions to end the euthanasia of adoptable animals in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. Since its inception, Rescue Cats of Florida has been able to adopt out literally thousands of animals. For the past two years Rescue cats has been the largest puller of animals from the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. This past year, Rescue Cats of Florida has saved over 1,500 cats and dogs.
