Looking for a great way to combine your workout with getting into the Halloween spirit a bit? Go! Running Tours Florida is bringing you just around 4 miles of downtown Tampa running with a really “ghost heavy” tour of the city!
Event Details
In just an hour (maybe an hour and 15 minutes if I get carried away..), we will not only learn about downtown Tampa’s most famous ghosts, but also about the history of the buildings they still haunt today. Curious about some of the spooky spots that you’ll run by? The stunning Tampa Theatre, Oaklawn Cemetery, The Old Tampa Book Company (no longer in existence), The Falk Theatre and of course the beautiful former Tampa Bay Hotel, to name a few. Bonus - I’m working on finding a spot for a spooky post tour libation where we can all hang out for a bit after the run.
*This tour will adhere to Go! Running Tours Covid Safety Guidelines. For those not running with masks, we will make sure disposable ones are available at the spooky libation venue if it is not outdoors.
