“WHO DOES MILES DAVIS, GREGG ALLMAN, WILLIE NELSON, HERBIE HANCOCK, MICK JAGGER ALL HAVE IN COMMON? BILL EVANS, THAT’S WHO.”
Legendary saxophonist and producer Bill Evans who made his debut on the international music scene in the 1980’s with Miles Davis (at the age of 21) and recorded 6 records with Davis. This led to touring and recording with the likes of John McLaughlin, Herbie Hancock and Mick Jagger to name a few. Today, with 26 solo albums to date, Grammy nods, and countless collaborations and tours, Evans has continued to explore a dazzling variety of adventurous musical settings as a pioneering bandleader, consistently winning fans in the worldwide arena.
New York vocalist and composer Ashley Pezzotti
“Her intonation, the clarity of her phrasing, her vocal dynamics, and her timing are impeccable, and she is also a wonderful songwriter inspired by the American Songbook…” —JAZZ&BLUES REPORT
“Ashley Pezzotti is a 'singers singer'. Not only does she deliver timeless melodies (Standards and her original compositions), she has also mastered the art of 'scat singing' and can hold her own with any horn player.”
—MARCUS PRINTUP, JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER ORCHESTRA
Tommy Campbell the original member of Dizzy Gillespie's big band, who also worked with John McLaughlin, Sonny Rollins, the Manhattan Transfer, Mingus Big Band to name a few. Drummer and showman with a little gift, his home trained squeaky Porkestra.
