In honor of Father's Day, Joining Together Eliminating Poverty and Bridgeprep Academy of Tampa are hosting a "Character Ball" Basketball tournament for fathers and sons (must be 16 years old or older to participate). There is a fee of $25 per player for the "Character Ball" Tournament. The champions of the tournament will receive a $500 cash prize!
Teams will be 5-men, all will get playing time, and the games will be 3-on-3. "No cussing, no fussing, no fighting" as Character Ball is a family event. In the morning, there will be breakfast items for sale. We are having many family fun field games for everyone to enjoy. Tug o' War, the 3-Legged-Race, Ice Water Relay, and Baby (Crawl) Derby just to name a few.
After noon, we will have food trucks at the event for lunch and an award ceremony for the Tournament Champions and winners of other Family Fun Day games.
Please register for yourself and for your family. The Family Fun Day Activities are FREE, but there is a ticket price of $25 per player or $125 per team for the "Character Ball" Tournament.
