The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts will put a twist on 2018’s successful Beer & Shots event by hosting Wine & Say Cheese. This year, our event will be held at the famous Luna Lounge rooftop at Bulla Gastrobar, located in vibrant South Tampa.
Event Details
Wine & Say Cheese will allow our members and guests to engage with some of the many cultural opportunities that FMoPA has to offer. On this excursion, you will be able to smell, taste, and try new things! A selection of various wines and cheese will be available, along with many other drinks and hors d’ouevres.
In keeping with the traditions set last year, a competition will be held to allow select photographers to display their photographic works on FMoPA’s exterior LED sign. Photographers from all skill levels will be invited to submit their work for consideration. A jury will select the winners of the competition. Throughout the night, however, guests can make their voices heard by casting their votes for a ‘People’s Choice’ winner. A photo-focused trivia game and performance art will keep the night going before we conclude with the announcement of our winners!
Winning images will be on display over Curtis Hixon Park and Ashley Drive for all of June, July, and August 2019!
Anyone is eligible to submit their work. There’s no theme. There’s no limit to how many images you can submit. After the deadline on May 31, FMoPA’s panel of judges will select the best of the best to be exhibited. Don’t miss this opportunity to have your photography seen by all of downtown Tampa.
