Create jewelry together with a professional jeweler in his jewelry studio. Hand make silver rings or pendants in this basic silversmithing 1-day class. No experience is needed. Partners take home finished jewelry. Includes champagne, fruit and chocolate.

Event Details

Silver jewelry making classes are taught by artist and designer goldsmith, Dan Balk. Dan is inviting couples to hand make jewelry in sterling silver. Participants discover new abilities to design and create jewelry under the guidance of a professional jeweler.

This course is a great opportunity for partners to explore each others creative and artistic side as each makes a piece of jewelry for each other. Participants may customize their experience by each creating a one-of-a-kind pendant or ring. This course concludes with complementary offerings of champagne or wine, as well as fruit and chocolate.

Dan Balk, has opened his jewelry studio for basic silversmithing classes 7 days a week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. No experience is needed. Reservations are required. Each class is approximately 4 hours long. Classes are one-on-one. A deposit of $100.00 will reserve your date.

Students learn about jewelry in Dan Balk's fully equipped studio. Each Couples Class is private, enabling each participant to practice skills and techniques. The class is $450.00 per couple, and supplies are included. Couples will go home with their finished jewelry. Gemstones may be added for an additional fee.

In the Couples Jewelry Class, participants will develop hands-on education in hand fabrication using raw materials. Partners will gain awareness and practice in shop safety, design, creating silver sheets and wires, soldering and forming, and metal cutting. Dan's classes focus on projects that students can complete and develop confidence.
