Description
The Bay Baroque Ensemble, central Florida's premier group dedicated to the performance of Baroque music on historical instruments, presents a program of late German Baroque masterpieces featuring music by Graupner, Janitsch, and Telemann. Tickets: $10/15
Event Details
Performing for the event will be USF faculty member John Robison (Baroque oboe, recorder), with featured guest artists Maggie Coleman (soprano), Patrick Baran & Terry Rejko (violins), Valeria Frege (viola), Douglas Laing (viol), and Dana Milan (harpsichord). The varied program will include two outstanding works by Graupner (a Cantata for soprano, oboe & strings plus his Concerto for recorder & strings), a Telemann Trio Sonata for recorder, viola da gamba & continuo, and a Quartet by Johann Gottlieb Janitsch.
