Event Details
The secure destruction of data is critical to preventing identity theft. In partnership with Urban E Recycling, the library is hosting a FREE computer and approved electronics shredding event. Bring your hard drives, cell phones, tablets, and more to be shredded in the parking lot at Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library. Certificates of destruction will be provided upon request. This event is presented as part of National Cyber Awareness Month, a national campaign to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security.
