Event Details
This Night in Paris at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts will celebrate the nominees, finalists and winners of the Ida S. Baker Diversity Educator of the Year, Instructional Support Employee of the Year and Teacher of the Year awards.
Hosted by the Hillsborough Education Foundation, in partnership with HCPS, the evening will feature heavy hor d'oeuvres, music and an after party with dessert and a cash bar.
General Reception: 4:30 p.m.
Awards Program: 6:00 p.m. (OPEN SEATING)
After Party: 7:15 p.m. (ADULTS 21+ONLY)
Tickets:
$32 online (ticket sales close Jan. 14, 2019)
***The nominees from each site will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves and a guest. These complimentary tickets will be given the night of the event when the nominees arrive.***

I am a school administrator. May I purchase tickets with my P-card?
Schools may purchase tickets using the principal’s P-card only. School budgets must be approved to purchase award/banquet tickets.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The William F. Poe Garage (800 N. Ashley Drive) is just a short walk from the Straz.

Is there reserved seating at this event?
No. This is an open-seating event. If you’re attending the event with a large group and you would like to sit together, we recommend arriving early.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, you must present your printed ticket at the doors to the Straz for entrance into the event.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
That is absolutely OK.
What type of security will there be at the event?
All guests will be required to go through metal detectors and a bag check.
